Jude Wells is a collector of stars, happily bedding the leading actor of each company that comes to town and never caring for a repeat performance.

Neither expects to find in the other more than a pleasant one-night tryst. So both are surprised to discover not only a kindred spirit but someone who might just put an end to their wandering ways.
