Meet Maia

Maia Strong (she/her) is a bi writer of sexy, speculative, queer romances as well as a recent cozy paranormal series, Presence Unknown, Paranormal Investigators. She prefers rain to sunshine, lemon to chocolate, and will rarely be found without a cup of coffee nearby.

A youth spent consuming all forms of sci-fi and fantasy and vibing with Ouija boards and crystals inevitably led her to create worlds where she can weave in fantastical elements. Whether they’re using it to break curses over theatres, to exorcise malevolent ghosts, or when making love, magic threads its way through her characters’ lives. Whatever the genre(s), her books are full of positive queer rep, excellent food, and an excess of caffeine.

When Maia’s not busy writing, you’re likely to find her turning herself upside down in her aerial circus routines or putting her theatre degree to use acting in local stage productions ranging from Shakespeare to the scientific and even the science-fictional. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her sweet but demanding kitties and her patient, supportive husband. Maia enjoys Mariners baseball, Storm basketball, daffodils, and grey skies.
